Sons of the Forest, a survival game, got a fantastic start when it was released today, February 23, on Steam Early Access. The game has more than 100,000 concurrent users right out of the gate, according to data from SteamDB. At the time of publication, there were 200,000 active gamers.

Sons of the Forest creator Endnight claimed that rather than postponing the launch once more, they chose to do so on February 23 in order to collaborate with players to improve the game. The company stated that there was still "so much more we want to add: things, new features, gameplay balance, and more."

A free and premium reward track will be included in the seasonal battle pass for New World. By completing various challenges via the game's Season Journey and earning season XP by finishing things like quests, faction missions, expeditions, and PvP battles, players will be able to earn cosmetics, boost tokens that can speed up how quickly a player earns weapon XP or boost trade skills, gear, and more through the battle pass.

Sons of the Forest can be purchased right now for $30. Endnight predicted that the game would probably stay in Early Access for 6 to 8 months, however anything may happen.

Sons of the Forest currently on the market features single-player and multiplayer for up to eight players. Endnight stated that it intends to pay attention to user input while making adjustments to the basic gameplay, balance, and bug patches over time.
